When should a Spot Zero fresh water membrane be chemically cleaned?

This cleaning will remove hard water build up, iron, and other deposits that scale up a fresh water membrane.

When the membrane supply pressure or (pump pressure), is above 150 psi, and the system is not able to make its normal rated flow of product water, will be the key signs that a chemical cleaning is needed.  Scale build up on the membrane surface is causing the system to build up higher pressure than normal and not allowing the membrane to produce product water at it's normal flow rate.  Below is an example of a system in need of a chemical cleaning.  01575003-5D43-413C-B887-DD43038ED822_1_105_c

The pump pressure is maxed out at just above 150 psi, and the product flow is less than 1 gallon per minute.  (Note: Temperature plays a big roll in the product flow and pressure, see temperature correction table in the manual for further information.).   If your system is in this condition, you would then procure part number 252404801 from your local supplier and follow the instructions on the container.
